MICE

How did they manage to come in?
Mice can slip in through very narrow openings and can climb on any type of surface.

Why did they come in?
They get into houses because they are looking for food. They are also found in neglected and abandoned areas, as well as near rivers.

How can I recognize the type of mouse?
You can recognize it by the type of dung and by the prints they leave.

What is the most suitable bait to use?
It depends on the size of the mouse and on the environmental characteristics of the place.

How should baits be placed?
Baits should be placed where mice are present, along the walls, in the distinctive holes that they dig into the ground or along river banks.

Baits must always be positioned so as to minimize the risk of ingestion by non-targeted animals and/or children.

Baits contain a repellent for dogs, cats and children, what does it mean?
As provided for by the law, the companies producing hazardous substances, such as rat poisons, are required to add a repellent to the product, which is basically a bitter substance that is unpleasant for children and pets.

Since baits contain poison, in order to avoid accidental product ingestions, we RECOMMEND placing them in the specific bait containers.

How much bait should I use?
We recommend using 100/150 grams of product per each bait station.

How long should the treatment last for?
The treatment should last for at least 4/5 consecutive days. Additional baits should be added as soon as they are consumed. Should the overrunning be particularly significant, we recommend prolonging the treatment by an additional week.

ANTS

I have notices some ants at home, in an opening that is difficult to reach. How can I get rid of them?
Ants are insects living in very large colonies and are active from spring, as soon as the climate is mild enough, until late autumn. They mostly live in the ground, in tree trunks and on the leaves, but they also get into the houses looking for breadcrumbs, small leftovers, and sugar.

Inside the houses, we suggest using the Formimayer aerosol, especially in case of openings that are difficult to reach – such as splits and cracks on the floors, door and window frames, areas behind pipes, etc. – since it is equipped with a special spray valve allowing for precise dispensing, that can even spray the product also upside-down.

Along the perimeters of sidewalks and terraces, we suggest the Formimayer powder, which should be distributed all over the infested surface, making sure to avoid any contact with people and animals. If possible, destroy the anthill directly, wetting it with concentrate and liquid solutions, such as Formulamayer, Biomayer, or using Formimayer Spray.

In case of an invasion of flying ants, especially in summer, use Formimayer Spray.

My house is not very roomy, is there a single product that can eliminate different types of insects?
Mayer Speciale Volanti can be used against all flying insects, such as wasps, hornets, mosquitoes, flies, bed bugs, midges, etc.
Mayer Speciale Striscianti eliminates all crawling insects, such as ants, spiders, cockroaches, roaches, scorpions, millipedes, earwigs, etc.
